GVSU Math Builds Menger Sponge

This month around the world, mathematicians joined together to create a giant fractal called the Menger Sponge. The GVSU Math Department was part of the effort, and dozens of students and faculty contributed to the creation of a "Level 2 Sponge." The GVSU Menger Sponge was delivered to Calvin College to become part of their "Level 3 Sponge". See the action at Calvin College, including a picture of their "Level 3 Sponge".
