This year’s Math in Action conference, centered around the theme of “Practical Resources for Real Classrooms,” will be of interest to teachers of mathematics at all grades levels, K-12.
Our keynote speaker this year is Dr. Glenda Lappan, University Distinguished Professor of Mathematics from Michigan State University, former NCTM president, and recipient of the MCTM Outstanding Achievement Award and the NCTM Lifetime Achievement Award.
In addition to the keynote address, the day’s schedule features four sets of concurrent, interactive sessions that will highlight practical suggestions and activities in line with current recommendations for the teaching and learning of K-12 mathematics.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact one of the co-organizers of Math in Action.
CALL FOR SPEAKERS: Proposals for sessions will be accepted until Friday, October 19th. Please check out the speaker proposal form (Word file) for the information needed to submit a proposal.
