Students are encouraged to give fifteen minute presentations on any area of mathematical interest. Such areas include undergraduate research projects, interesting class projects, mathematics history, technology demonstrations, etc. Abstracts of talks (at most 100 words) should be entered below. Each presenter will be notified of acceptance of his/her paper within one week of abstract submission. The deadline for abstract submission is Friday, October 10th .

Technology Needs: All presentation rooms have whiteboards, a standard overhead projector, and a PC connected to a projection device. The computer has a floppy drive, runs Maple-9 and Powerpoint, and has internet access. If you request additional technology needs, please describe such needs below.
The registration fee for the conference is $12, which includes refreshments and lunch. However, students who give presentations have their conference registration fees reduced from $12 to $8. We strongly encourage departments to pay the remainder of each student presenter's registration fees and to help defray the costs of all student participants from their institutions.
