This free webinar provides an economic development perspective on the growth of wind energy. IEDC will also discuss its two recent reports on wind energy.

The first report, “Understanding Renewable Energy Businesses,” interviews renewable energy companies to identify local and state assets most important to company growth; the relative importance of local and regional policy tools; the top challenges to company growth; and the economic development programs most helpful to RE companies.

The second report, “Creating the Clean Energy Economy” provides an analysis of the offshore wind energy industry and outlines how economic developers can unlock the potential of this industry to grow local wealth, jobs and investment.

Attendance is free; refreshments will be provided.  RSVP requested.
