ILL services are offered to current GVSU Faculty, Emeritus Faculty, Staff, and Students. Michicard patrons cannot request from document delivery.

• Except for articles, only those materials not owned by the GVSU Library or those materials that are marked ''missing'' in the GVSU public catalog may be requested. (Please allow up to 2 weeks to fill a request.)
• The following materials cannot be requested.
  • Textbooks
  • Rare books
  • Complete issues of journals
  • Genealogy
  • Bound copies of GVSU-owned e-books
• Undergraduates will be limited to 10, Graduates to 20 and Faculty and Staff to 30 active requests.
• Electronically delivered items are available for 14 days.
• All renewals on Interlibrary Loan Books are done at the discretion of the lending library and you may only request one renewal. Any item more than 7 days past the due date may not be renewed.
• An account will be blocked when an item is more than 14 days over due.
• GVSU pays up to $20.00 on behalf of a patron for each requested item.
