Meet the Center Staff!
Director Dr. Milt Ford fordm@gvsu.edu ![]() Milt serves as the Director of the Center as well as a part-time faculty member in the Liberal Studies Department, teaching LGBT-related courses. Assistant Director Colette Seguin Beighley beighlec@gvsu.edu ![]() Prior to coming to the Center, Colette was the Director of Communications for Triangle Foundation-- Michigan's leading anti-violence and advocacy organization serving the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and allied communities. She holds a Masters Degree in Counseling from California State University, East Bay. Colette is also author of the blog "Mostly Sunny with a Chance of Gay" Office Coordinator Carrie Christian christca@gvsu.edu ![]() Carrie serves as the Office Coordinator for the Center. Prior to this she worked for GVSU Housing. She holds a Master's Degree in College Student Affairs and a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Western Michigan University. Graduate Assistant Matt Mokma mokmamat@gvsu.edu ![]() Matt is the Graduate Assistant for the Center. He is seeking his Master's Degree in Public Administration, emphasizing Nonprofit Management and College Student Development. He also serves as a graduate intern for Career Services. Student Worker Lisa Lemon ![]() Lisa is a GVSU Student and LGBT Resource Center student worker. She is a Political Science major. Student Worker Danielle O'Connor ![]() Danielle is a GVSU undergraduate and student worker at the LGBT resource center. She is a Biopsychology major. |
