An Evening with Dennis Banks

A VIEW OF HISTORY

 

Grand Valley State University in Traverse City will host an evening to view history from the Native American perspective. The PBS documentary, We Shall Remain: From Plymouth to Wounded Knee, A Tale of Survival, as well as tape from Dennis Banks' recent visit to the GVSU campus will be viewed. A facilitated discussion will follow.

The event will be held December 3, 6:00-8:00, Room 215 at the University Center. Admission is free. To assure adequate seating, please RSVP at www.gvsu.edu/traverse or 995-1785.

This program has been approved by the Michigan Social Work Continuing Education Collaborative for 2.0 continuing education clock hours.
