What's a Social Worker Doing Fundraising Anyway?!

Training Summary: Many social workers are working in nonprofit agencies faced with growing needs for financial resources.  In both large and small organizations social workers are asked to play an increasing role in helping to raise funds by speaking to public groups, donors and other individuals about their work experiences with client populations.  Many career fundraisers today have a background in social work because of their special training in listening and organizational skills combined with a passion for the mission of the organization.  

Cost: $50.00 (includes training materials, refreshments, and 4.0 approved SW continuing education clock hours)
