Would you head out on a trip without a map? While you can, a road map may make a trip more efficient and direct.

Our academic advisors will help you map out your educational journey. Advisors at the Meijer Campus in Holland work with prospective and current students. We strongly encourage you to meet with an academic advisor prior to registering for classes to determine your personalized plan of study. The Meijer Campus in Holland has advisors on site who are glad to assist you in the academic planning process and can:

  • Provide academic planning advice and support
  • Explain university policies and procedures
  • Make referrals to appropriate academic resources including tutoring, counseling, career counseling, disability support services, etc.
  • Help develop strategies for academic success

Once admitted to the University, you are assigned an advisor in your field of study.  Students are encouraged to meet with their assigned advisors annually, but are welcome to meet with the general advisors located at the Meijer Campus as well.

To determine your assigned advisor:

  • Log into My Banner
  • Click on Student and Financial Aid tab
  • Select Student Records
  • Select View Major and Advisor Information
