-The Sustainable Student Leader Workshop, September 19th – 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Kirkhof Center 1142
This workshop focuses on the Triple Bottom Line concept and how student leaders can use it be socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable. This is a 2 hour workshop designed to help participants better understand and utilize concepts of sustainability in their life and student organizations. -Non-Profit Volunteer and Internship Fair, September 20th – 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Henry Hall Atrium
The Non-Profit Volunteer and Internship Fair is an opportunity for students to connect with various agencies in the greater Grand Rapids area.  Up to 50 agencies offering volunteer and/or internship opportunities will be present! Resumes and business attire are not required but may be appropriate for those looking for internships. Click here for more information!
 
-College Positive Volunteer Training, September 21st – 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Kirkhof Center 1142
A College Positive Volunteer is a college student who is aware of how they impact the college readiness and enthusiasm of the youth they interact with as they volunteer in local communities.  The CSLC conducts CPV trainings with the aim to prepare you to be an effective college resource for the K-12 youth you work with and to always have the a college-going mindset. Click here for more information and to sign up!
 
-Leadership Summit Planning Board Positions, Applications due September 23rd 
Leadership Summit of Grand Valley State University is a state-wide premier leadership conference and campus tradition entering its 15th year. It is a student-run conference which strives to foster leadership development for undergraduate students, in multidisciplinary aspects of campus life. The planning board helps with all aspects of Leadership Summit. -Student Leader Networking Reception, September 28th - 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Kirkhof Center 2204
This is an opportunity for GVSU student leaders to network and learn new ways to collaborate with other groups on campus. All students are invited to attend even if they are not affiliated with a student organization, living center, or campus department. Don't miss this incredible opportunity! -First Year Leadership Experience, October 3rd – 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Kirkhof Center 2215
The First Year Leadership Exploration is a 5-week leadership emersion program designed to assist newer leaders in creating and enhancing their personal philosophy of leadership while developing basic leadership skills and learning about all of the leadership opportunities that the GVSU community has to offer.
