Leadership Programs website

What are the Laker Leadership Programs (LLP)?
The Office of Student Life, in collaboration with several other areas of the university, provides leadership training, development, and experiences for GVSU students and student organizations. The LLP offers a variety of leadership development programs including the "core" leadership programs (First Year Leadership Exploration, Intermediate Leaders Institute, Community Leader Seminar, and leadership certificates) as well as a number of special events and receptions including Leadership Summit and the Venderbush Leadership Reception.

Students may choose to participate in one or all the programs during their GVSU experience.  Participants of the core Laker Leadership Programs are acknowledged annually through the Laker Leader Recognition program and graduating seniors receive a leadership pin.
