We would like to cordially invite you to participate in the annual Leadership Summit at Grand Valley State University held on Saturday February 13, 2010. Our student led committee is currently seeking qualified professionals (students and staff) to present educational sessions 50 minutes in length, which advocate our core values as reflected in our mission:  

“The Leadership Summit of Grand Valley State University is a professional conference which strives to foster leadership development for undergraduate students in multidisciplinary aspects of campus life.”

We are seeking educational sessions to cover both emerging and experienced leadership skills.  Interest areas for topics include:

  • Athletics
  • Campus-wide Programming
  • Diversity/Cultural Organizations
  • Housing/Residence Life
  • Greek Life/Multicultural Greek Letter Organizations
  • Leadership Development
  • Service Learning/ Civic Engagement
  • Student Government
  • Student Organization Advising

The planning committee would like you to consider presenting an interest session at this year’s conference.  

We ask that presenters and co-presenters register by January 29, 2010. We are unable to reimburse presenter and co-presenters for travel, lodging, or other related expenses.  With your help, the Leadership Summit will become the premiere leadership conference in the Midwest. You’re knowledge and expertise will benefit all student leaders who attend. Thank you for your consideration.

  • What one thing will students walk away form your session knowing?
