KEEPING CHOLESTEROL IN CHECK! What is cholesterol?
A desirable blood cholesterol level is less than 200 mg/dl. When too much cholesterol and other fats are consumed in the diet, the body cannot get rid of the excess. These excess fats are in the bloodstream and can form plaque in the artery walls, creating health problems that can lead to heart disease and a heart attack. Tips for controlling your cholesterol level:
