HELPFUL TIPS FOR THOSE ACHING JOINTS As defined by the Arthritis Foundation, the terms "arthritis" and "rheumatic disease" refer to more than 100 diseases that cause inflammation, pain, and limited joint mobility throughout the body, and represent the number one cause of physical disability in the United States. If you have pain, stiffness, or swelling in or around a joint for more than two weeks, see your doctor to determine the cause. If you have already been diagnosed with a form of arthritis, it is important to be proactive and work with your doctor to get the right treatment. Here are some tips to help you be good to your joints or prevent arthritis flare-ups:
