Skill Sets Required:
*Student Intern must have basic computer skills such as working with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
*Student intern should have an introduction into archiving, cataloguing, and museum organization prior to the internship.
*Student intern should have a love for history.
*Research Skills.
*Student intern must have his/her own laptop.

Upcoming Projects/Needs:
*KHPC plans to develop two programs on DVD as an educational tool.  The target audience would be for elementary school children to, not only generate interest in historical preservation, but also to meet criteria for the presentation of local history as mandated by curriculum.  The second DVD would be produced for high school students and adults as part of the awareness goal.
*DVD Project includes the production of a script, recording, filming, editing, and working alongside the WKTV staff.
*Assessment of KHPC resources and archiving.
*Physical organization of Heritage room in library.
*Resource cataloguing
The KHPC will provide/train in the following areas:
*Eloise Havem will be supervising the student intern directly.  She has a MA in history and is extremely knowledgeable in genealogy, military history, and record keeping.
*Bruce Butgereit will also be working alongside the student intern on occasion and he is an expert in Civil War history.  He is also familiar with museum studies and the workings of a historical society.
The Kutsche Office will provide/train in the following areas:
*Archival Logistic DVD Lectures/Training Manual
*The application process & interview process
