Bio

Amber Erickson is a Research Manager in the Community Research Institute at the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Mich. She is responsible for various aspects of project planning, data collection, analysis, and reporting for evaluation projects. She is the lead evaluator for the Community Family Partnership, a SAMHSA System of Care grant for Kent County.

 
Erickson joined the Johnson Center in 2010 as a Master of Social Work intern and has also worked as a Research Coordinator for the Johnson Center. Previously, she has worked as a Research Assistant for The University of Michigan School of Social Work, as well as coordinated legislative and community advocacy campaigns for nonprofit organizations.
 
She earned both a Master of Social Work degree, with a concentration in Social Policy and Evaluation, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan.
 
Erickson teaches a graduate course on research methods for Grand Valley State University’s School of Social Work.
