Lisa Venema

Bio

Lisa M. Venema is the Unit Coordinator for the Community Research Institute at the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Mich. She is responsible for overseeing the CRI student’s, as well as, preparing proposals and memorandums of understanding with external clients for CRI projects, while ensuring that projects processes are implemented from the proposal stage through invoicing and payment collection stage. 

Venema joined the Johnson Center in July 2012.  Prior to working for GVSU Lisa worked for 16 years as a bank branch manager, and more recently as the accounting manager for a neuropsychologist’s office. 

Venema attended Grand Valley State University where she studied Business Administration.
