Jerry Johnson, Ph.D.

Bio

Jerry Johnson is an Associate Professor of Social Work at GVSU. He joined the Community Research Institute as the Interim Research Director in May, 2012. He has over 30 years of experience in the human services as a practitioner, administrator, consultant, and trainer. He has worked abroad as a consultant to USAID and UNDP, and was twice recognized as a Fulbright Scholar. He has written and edited 10 books and several articles and has an extensive history in community and applied research and evaluation in the U.S. and internationally.
