Mark your calendar for the 38th Annual Conference of the International Trumpet Guild where highly charged classical and hot jazz will come together in a cool city to create a musical explosion that's sure to make history. Sponsored by Grand Valley State University, the conference will be held at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Opening Day of the conference will be filled with classes and concerts for trumpeters of all ages. Each day of the conference will be filled with concerts by international artists, master classes, and lectures. New this year will be daily classes (ITG Goes to Class) on solo playing, orchestral excerpts, commercial/lead trumpet playing, advanced jazz playing for the crossover artist, and jazz for the orchestral musician led by outstanding artists and pedagogues such as Rex Richardson, Bill Lucas, David Hickman, Steve Hendrickson, Thomas Hooten, Craig Morris, Michael Sachs, and Vince DiMartino. You'll find plenty of things to do after dark in Grand Rapids. Our downtown entertainment district puts you in the middle of a dazzling array of nighttime diversions: live-music bars, sports bars, brewpubs, comedy clubs, and of course our late-night jam sessions. Everything is within a five-minute walk from our official conference hotel, the stunning Amway Grand Plaza.
