Moving from Office 2010 to Office 2013 at GVSU

My Documents – The My Documents folder is handled the same way it was in Windows 7. It’s configured so that your My Documents folder is stored on your network private drive.  We use a Windows feature called “Always Available” to keep a copy of your files on the computer’s internal disk, so they’re available when you’re disconnected from the network. If you use multiple computers or change computers your documents will be available.

Office 2013 – GVSU Windows 8 computers are delivered with Office 2013. The file format is the same for both Windows 8 and Windows 7, so you can exchange files easily. The user interface is very similar to Office 2010 but there are a few new features.
