| IPO is Grand Valley State University's student-run investment organization, which manages a real $45,000 portfolio. Members of the club participate in market research and investment selection, and host professional speakers throughout the year. We have several annual trips (Chicago Board of Trade, University of Dayton, Berkshire Hathaway's annual shareholder meeting) and social events that provide unparalleled investing insight and exclusive networking opportunities Meetings are every Thursday at 6pm in room DEV 136E on the downtown Pew Campus. |
March 28th DEV 136E IPO will be hosting Ed Budjos, Vice President and Senior Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch. Ed will give us the story of his career, share advice with students, and answer any questions members of the audience may have about his line of work. This is a great opportunity to learn about a career path in financial advising, specifically at one of the largeset firms in the world. |
