GVSU Summer Intern Housing will be available for 12 weeks from May 10 through August 3.  Rates are charged by the day and you do not need to stay the entire 12 weeks. The minimum stay is 60 days.

GVSU Intern Housing provides an affordable, safe environment for students who are completing an internship in the West Michigan Area. For the 2024 season, we will have intern housing available from 5/10/24 through 8/3/24 on both our Grand Rapids and Allendale Campuses. At the current time we are only taking applications for the Allendale Campus. If you would prefer to stay on the Grand Rapids Campus you may apply to stay in Allendale and specify you would like to be placed on a waitlist for Grand Rapids. The waitlist will be listed on a first applied basis. We expect some beds will open in Grand Rapids March 1, 2024. That is the date companies who have room blocks must confirm their intern space. We also on that date should have a better idea of the amount of GVSU Students that will be staying in housing and know if more space will open up. Housing on our Allendale campus If your company has a room block they will contact you directly after 1/18/24 with a link to complete an application.

Generally, single, double, and limited quad options are available on our Grand Rapids campus. Double and Quad options are available on the Allendale Campus. We maintain a list of interns seeking roommates, making it easy to find a roommate and share a unit. 

Our rates are by the day. and include all utilities, cable TV,  Wifi, and use of washer and dryers. There is a $60.00 non-refundable application fee and a $150.00 parking permit fee if you will need to park on campus.
