ACE Peer Review Team and Institutions

A review team from ACE visited GVSU April 7th through the 9th to discuss the recommendations with President Haas, Provost Davis, other key officials, faculty, staff, and students.

The review team was led by ACE’s Dr. Barbara Hill, Senior Assoc. for Internationalization.  Dr. Gil Latz, Associate Vice Chancellor for Int’l. Affairs at IUPUI and formerly of Portland State as well as Dr. Jesse Lutabingwa, Associate Vice Chancellor, International Education at Appalachian State University were also on the review team.  To provide context around their visit and depth of experience, below are links to the internationalization efforts at their institutions.

Grand Valley Resources

The links below are syllabi from Grand Valley courses that contain a global learning component.  Note the variety of ways the instructors have used to bring global content into their classroom including assignments, readings, conversation, out of class presentations, and critiquing local events and activities from a global perspective.
