Treasury Analyst
Description:
This position manages the day to day operations of foreign currency hedging, interest rate hedging, settlement of derivative contracts, short term borrowing and investments, assisting with capital markets transactions and accounting and disclosure requirements on a global basis.
Duties:
- Trend currency markets to enhance and adjust hedge coverage.
- Recommend hedging strategies to mitigate currency risk and protect earnings.
- Provide business units with guidance on strategies to mitigate currency risk. Execute hedge transactions with global banking partners.
- Analyze foreign currency transaction exposures company-wide, tracking derivatives and compliance with SFAS 133.
- Monitor, analyze and service the company's debt portfolio and adjust interest accruals quarterly.
- Forecast interest expense and income.
- Prepare analysis over key financial ratios.
Foreign Exchange Junior Trader
Description:
Strong understanding of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Foreign Currency, Foreign Exchange and Money Market transactions. Prior financial industry/Trading Systems or Risk Management experience is highly desired.
Duties:
- Support currency dealing and trading services of the Trading Desk Execute client currency transactions and FX spot trades
- Ensure client access to up to date market and pricing information Monitor FX positions and manage FX exposure as directed by the Chief Dealer
- Keep up to date with market information and monitor trends in currency pairings
- Monitor trades to ensure compliance with internal anti-money laundering policies and procedures
- Assist Chief Dealer with establishing desk positions
Financial Analyst/Trade Credit Underwriter
Description:
The insurance division markets, underwrites and services trade credit and political risk insurance. Credit insurance protects against domestic and international nonpayment risk on business-to-business transactions caused by financial, economic or political uncertainties. Credit insurance is also a useful tool for corporate clients to manage financial performance, increase sales and optimize balance sheet efficiency, and facilitate the financing of receivables.
Duties:
- Research and analyze international and domestic credit risks, formulate underwriting recommendations, and communicate underwriting results in verbal and written form to Supervisor, Senior Management, brokers and/or clients.
- Organize workflow to accomplish timely response to requests.
- Perform financial statement analysis to formulate credit decision, document the decision reached via written memorandum and communicate decision reached to others in a timely manner.
- Handle and prepare quotes for new business submissions and renewals of existing business.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with brokers and insureds while providing a high level of customer service.
