Is it to know God, to the extent that this is possible? Is it to engage in a dialogue with God that will result in a better (healthier, more prosperous) life for you and your family and friends?
This week's question explores the relationship between these two goals. Our questioner asks, "Is it appropriate to seek God’s hand in prayer more than his face? In other words, is it okay for us to ask things of God without trying to get to know him?"
