Pub Theology Summer Series: Why Good People are Divided by Religion & Politics

Date and Time

Monday, August 8, 2016 8:00 PM

Description

Why are good people divided by politics & religion? That's the question so many people are asking in our pluralistic religious culture and in this polarizing election year. If you are interested in bridging those divisions and understanding where people on both sides of the issues are coming from pull up a chair, grab a brew, and let's talk. For those looking for a head start on our summer series topic we recommend reading Jonathan Haidt's book The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Divided By Religion & Politics.

About Pub Theology: Organized by an interfaith group of individuals, this gathering is open to all and meant to encourage casual conversations about usually divisive topics. Pub Theology is meant to build community across our spiritual differences over pizza, beer, or whatever you chose.
