Interfaith Service Project

Working together to help those in need of affordable housing

Habitat for Humanity is holding two jobsites for interfaith crews on Saturday, Sept. 13:

-1034 Grandville (frame carpentry on the skeleton of the building)
-760 Chatham NW (landscaping)

Habitat is also opening up a site on Sunday, Sept.  14, but they haven’t yet determined the location of the jobsite.

Communities and congregations are encouraged to form groups from their members to participate in one of jobsites. Habitat can match groups with those from other faith/non-faith backgrounds. At Atlanta’s Habitat chapter, their interfaith groups gather together at lunch and have cuisine representative of different cultures, allowing time for discussion about serving people in need. We could do something similar here.
