Catholic Christians look to Mary as a model of discipleship, the Blessed Mother of Jesus, indeed the mother of God. Known as Maryam, to Muslims, this holy woman is highly honored and revered for her great faithfulness to Allah. Ghazala Munir and Mary Vaccaro will discuss Mary/Maryam as she appears in the Bible and the Quran, as well as the customs and traditions of Christian and Muslim peoples.
