Interfaith Leadership Dinner

On Thursday, March 27th, 2014, we hosted our First Annual Interfaith Leadership Dinner. The dinner's purpose is to honor those in the community who help make interfaith happen, whether it's with their time, money or expertise, as well as honor the leaders that were on the leading edge of bringing interfaith to West Michigan years ago.

For the first dinner, we established the Sylvia Kaufman Interfaith Leadership Award, which was awarded to Rev. Richard Rhem for his openness to other faiths as leader of Christ Community Church in Spring Lake, Michigan.

We also welcomed Dr. David Ford, Director of the Cambridge Inter-Faith Program, to deliver a keynote on both his Muscat Manifesto and Michigan Message.
