The IDeL team offers a variety of workshops on instructional technology and e-pedagogy. This year's lineup includes workshops on:
- interactive grading rubrics
- iPads for mobile learning
- digital badges
- best practices for clickers and audience response systems
Each March, the annual Teaching & Learning with Technology Symposium provides a showcase for how Grand Valley faculty are putting technology to use in their own teaching. This is a great opportunity to gather ideas for your own courses.

The Information Technology department offers a variety of workshops for those interested in learning to use GVSU's Blackboard learning management system, Collaborate communication tools, and a number of other tools for enhancing your teaching.

Online Learning Consortium
Need professional development opportunities that better fit your schedule? Consider the Online Learning Consortium workshops. Formerly known as the Sloan Consortium, the OLC is a recognized name in online learning; their workshops cover a variety of topics in instructional technology and are offered online.
Blackboard Innovative Teaching Series
The BITS workshops are a series of weekly faculty training webinars offered by Blackboard. Free for faculty, these are a great way to expand your skills from the comfort of your office.
