The first Wednesday of every month is "I am Grand Valley" day, where students can show the collective force of individual leadership by wearing their "I am Grand Valley" shirts and buttons.

“I am Grand Valley” Leadership Reception

On Wednesday, January 20, 2010 more than 600 student leaders will be celebrated at the “I am Grand Valley” Leadership Reception.  The event will honor “I am Grand Valley” nominees for their outstanding leadership skills and contributions to our campus community.  This event aims to celebrate campus leadership in all disciplines, everyone is welcome to attend and refreshments will be provided.  The reception will take place from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the Thornapple Room.
