What you’ll do: You’ll assist with the direct and indirect supervision of all concession stand workers, control inventory levels for your area both needed for the coming days and what needs to be cooked based on factors such as expected attendance and weather, and oversee any necessary cleaning before, during, and after the event. -- and have a lot of fun doing it.
Why we want you: You’re an enthusiastic and outgoing people person, with some prior experience in managing others. You're passionate about the fan experience, are a stellar organizer, and get along well with a wide variety of people. You love fast paced environments, meeting new people, and consider yourself a phenomenal communicator. You work hard and play nice, and appreciate a good joke.
Dependent on specific position and experience, hourly wage is negotiable. This position includes tips on top of the hourly wage.
Qualifications
What you need: Terrific customer service, excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm for sharing your excitement for the Whitecaps brand. The ability to multitask, organize, and adjust to changing schedules. Prior experience in food and beverage and/or supervisory roles is preferred. Flexibility, since every day here is different. You’ll need a willingness to work a lot of nights, holidays and weekends. In addition, you will also need to be able to arrive to the ballpark by 3pm on each Whitecaps home game day.
