Food & Beverage Requirements

The Food and Beverage Management emphasis requires 15 credits.

Complete the following:
HTM 250 Food Production and Kitchen Management (4 cr)
   Prerequisite: HTM 213
HTM 318 Responsible Beverage Management (3 cr)
   Prerequisites: HTM 213 and HTM 361
HTM 413 Advanced Food and Beverage Management (4 cr)
   Prerequisites: HTM 250, HTM 290 and CIS 150

Plus, choose a minimum of four (4) credits of additional major electives from this group:
BMS 105 Basic Nutrition (3 cr)
HTM 175 International Food and Culture (3 cr)
HTM 275 Culinary Tourism (3 cr)

SOC 288 Sociology of Food (3 cr)
HTM 323 Festival and Special Event Management (3 cr)

   Prerequisite: HTM 101
HTM 350 Banquet and Catering Management (3 cr)
   Prerequisite: HTM 213
