Date: February 5, 2014
Time: 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Location: Room 2259 Russel H. Kirkhof Center

Facilitated by Maggie McCrystal and Kim Monaghan from Human Resources.  Join us for a noon time book discussion on Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead (Knopf 2013) written by Sheryl Sandberg, COO of Facebook and take a closer look at what makes this book so popular.  Women everywhere are turning to this book for inspiration and guidance on how they, like Sandberg, can lean in and ask for more. What tools and strategies does Sandberg recommend for enhancing professional pursuits? How can you employ her advice and leverage your leadership capabilities? Come prepared to discuss these questions, share takeaways and personal insights during this facilitated book discussion designed to provoke impactful dialogue.

Although the discussion will be more meaningful for those who have read the book, it is not required.  Also, book copies will not be provided but there are a few copies available for one (1) week at a time in Human Resources.  Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch to this program. Beverages will be provided.
