The Women's Leadership House (WLH) at Grand Valley State University provides a small community experience within the larger university. WLH seeks to cultivate a community of women who are investing in the exploration of their authentic self in order to actively work towards gender justice. Students who live in GVSU's Women's Leadership House will be civically engaged and become advocates for change on campus and in the broader community.
Resident involvement is integral in developing and sustaining a dynamic academic community. Resident input and leadership will shape the program and events that touch a wide variety of topics central to women's leadership development. The creativity of residents allows for a nurturing and inclusive community of women leaders. The Women's Leadership House is for female students interested in Women and Gender Studies, Women's Leadership, Social Justice, and connecting with students with similar interests.
