The Office of Housing and Residence Life is committed to being sustainable. Energy efficient appliances, campus recycling, residential energy savings competitions, and the campus connector transportation system are all initiatives that are becoming a way of life in our on-campus residential areas as well as the campus community at large.

 

 

  Conserve Energy Challenge

 Each community’s energy consumption will be monitored during the month of October 2009 then compared to consumption in the community during February 2010. The community that shows the most improvement between the two months will be able to choose from a list of community sustainability improvement initiatives.
