Why did you choose to attend Grand Valley?
I thought Grand Valley had great academic programs and I like the idea of having small class sizes. I really like the campus as well. I feel comfortable here. I just feel like it's home.

What do you like best about Grand Valley?
It has the entire package: well-rounded education, extra curricular activities, helpful professors, and really friendly faculty and students.

How have you benefited from Grand Valley's liberal education foundation?
Having liberal education courses has really caused me to broaden my experience. It's exposed me to different mindsets and beliefs and has made me a more well-rounded person.

How will Grand Valley help you meet your future goals?
The classes have made me a better writer and a more analytical thinker. My problem solving skills and communication abilities have improved greatly and these are crucial for grad school and beyond.

How has the Honors College enhanced your overall education?
Honors really pushed me to be a better writer, critical thinker, and communicator. Also, since the class sizes are very small they really encourage participation and teamwork. I also enjoy the high quality professors and the students. Everyone is really focused and friendly.

How have you benefitted from living in Honors College housing?
Living in the Honors College exposes you to students that have a lot in common with you to do with their academic goals and their values. Living in an academic and living center helped keep me focused.

Why would you recommend the Honors College to others?
I think that it really pushes you to become a better student. It challenges you to think more critically and to write better, wherever you go in life these are skills that are crucial to have. They offer interesting classes that wouldn't otherwise be available to students such as junior seminar and a social science sequence.
