Why did you choose to attend Grand Valley?
Grand Valley was close by and they had a lot of great programs.

What do you like best about Grand Valley?
How helpful everyone is and how open. It was really easy for me to come here, even though I had no idea what I was doing being a first generation college student.

How have you benefited from Grand Valley's liberal education foundation?
The liberal education foundation helped me to see other topics that I might not have noticed before. It broadened my interests and I was able to better figure out what my best fit would be.

How will Grand Valley help you meet your future goals?
All of the programs that are available at Grand Valley serve to help you on whatever path you might choose. Ive found multiple opportunities to help me build my resume and be a strong candidate for graduate school.

How has the Honors College enhanced your overall education?
I took a very specific general ed political science course. It was three semesters long and got me involved in civil rights and human rights. It was really eye opening.

Why would you recommend the Honors College to others?
The Honors College is unique, it's a challenge, but it's definitely good to help develop your own personal skills, as well as broaden your mind. Their different tracks really help you get that liberal education foundation.
