Honors Student Conference

Application Instructions

Conference Date: April 8, 2017

To apply, we ask that you submit an abstract on the theme of "responsibility in colliding worlds."

What does "Responsibility in Colliding Worlds" mean? In a world of 7.5 billion people, needs and desires are bound to be incongruent.  What are responsibilities? What are our collective responsibilities? Who are we responsible to? What are we responsible for? Why are we responsible? Who determines responsibilities? Who determines responsible parties? How do we decide? How can we work to better align and/or meet goals? How do we best manage our personal incongruent responsibilities? The conference theme of “responsibility in colliding worlds” is broadly defined, and it is up to the participant and their faculty advisor(s) to clarify how the theme applies to the specific project.

Word limit for abstract: 150
