The two hives at the Meijer Campus have now been officially 'named' to recognize university advocates of the apiary endeavor:

• The Glass Hive, named for Dr. Stephen Glass (Interim Dean of The Brooks College of Interdisciplinary Studies) (located on the scale).


• The Smart Hive, named for Dr. Robert Smart (Director of the Center for Scholarly and Creative Excellence)
