GVSU-Holland Hosts Mas Adelante
Date: October 9, 2012
Mas Adelante Youth Leadership Group seeks to teach students leadership principles through learning from community leaders, exploring different careers, community service and putting these skills to practice in the planning of our Youth Conference. GVSU Holland is hosting this program on campus. For more information please contact, Roberto Jara, at (616) 594-7108. The program will include the following subjects and will be taught by high level business leaders and college professors in our community:
• Critical Thinking
• Problem Identification
• Mind Mapping
• Problem Solving
• Rules of Logic and Critical Thinking
• Creativity
• Information Literacy and Evaluation
• Communication
• Written Communication – continual English writing exercises aimed at improving writing skills
• Utilization of Computers for writing and communication
• Public Speaking and Presentation
The dates that Mas Adelante Meets are:
Tuesday Evenings –6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
