New Blog Highlights Latino Youth Experience in Holland Michigan

In the 2011-2012 academic year, the GVSU Meijer Campus in Holland has hosted a new youth program from Latin Americans United for Progress designed to nurther critical thinking, communication, and advocacy skills: Mas Adelante. Mas Adelante is made up of motivated high school students who desire to prepare more fully for college and careers. Students meet 4 – 6 hours per week during the school year, contribute to a group blog that is published and execute community service projects.
