What is TESA?

The Teen Entrepreneur Summer Academy (TESA) is a week-long, hands-on, interactive experience where West Michigan high school students learn how to launch a business.  The  five day academy cost is $25.00 with food provided.  $1000.00 in cash prizes will be awarded on the final pitch day!

What is Laker Writers Camp?

Our writing camps are for students who are interested in writing!  Our teachers will inspire creative things and writing as the young writers explore various writing styles and methods of self-expression.  They will meet and write with new friends.

The Lake Michigan Writing Project at GVSU is one of over 200 sites of the National Writing Project (www.nwp.org).

Respiratory protection violations from the MIOSHA Enforcement Division have always been in the top 10 occupational health violations that are issued every year.  When engineering controls are not effective the use of respiratory protection is crucial for protecting employee's health while performing their assigned duties in adverse atmospheres that could contain elevated levels of gases, fumes, vapors and particulates. This course will cover the most frequently cited violations, and elements of a respiratory protection program following Michigan's Part 451-Respiratory Protection (Rule 1910.134) and how to develop a site-specific respirator program.
