Professor Kapoor teaches classes in the history of science and medicine. He specializes in the history of electric power technologies in the British Empire. His current book project examines the relationship between electrification and colonialism in New Zealand between the 19th and 21st centuries. Some of his other research and teaching projects include the history of “alternative” energy systems and engineering history and ethics.
