Small Group Fitness

Are you ready to take your fitness level to the next step? Small group instruction is an alternative to one-on-one training. Whether it be for fat loss, general conditioning, or elite level athletics, the added motivation of having others working out in the same room with you pushes you to a new effort level. You will receive accountability, motivation, support, experience and guidance to reach your fitness goals at an economical rate. Class size is limited to 8 people.

A typical workout would include a warm up, combination of strength and cardiovascular exercises and a cool down/stretch. Depending on the week, the focus could be specifically strength, cardio and or more of a rest day with a flexibility and stretching focus. Sometimes workouts have included kickboxing formats or dance based moves. Plan to stay energized and exposed to new ways of moving.

The class is co-led by two senior level GVSU Exercise Science students.


Spring/Summer 2017

Session I: May 9- June 29

Session II: July 11- August 31

Cost: $30 for each 8 week session.
