  • UMR Maternity Management Program
    This program is provided to all base and enhanced benefits plan members at no additional cost. It all begins with a confidential survey online or by calling a toll free number to get a paper survey. You will receive a summary booklet on a variety of subjects to promote a healthy pregnancy that you can share with your doctor.

  • Baby Changing Stations
    Baby changing stations have been added to male and female restrooms across campus. This has been done to serve the children of our faculty, staff, students and community members during working hours or for events that may be on campus.

     
  • Rooms for Nursing Mothers
    GVSU is striving to make it easier for nursing mothers to maintain breast-feeding after returning to work or school by providing private and comfortable rooms for nursing mothers.

    GVSU recognizes the importance of supporting nursing mothers by providing space for mothers to express milk.   If you are having difficulty making arrangements, please contact Sue Sloop at Work Life Connections, 331-8011 or sloops@gvsu.edu.
