Working mothers today confront not only conflicting demands on their time and energy, but also conflicting ideas about how they are to behave: they must be nurturing and unselfish while engaged in child rearing, but competitive and ambitious at work. Meet with other GVSU Moms around interesting topics of discussion to both young moms and more experienced moms. Faculty, staff, and students are all welcome. This program is co-sponsored by GVSU Women's Center and GVSU Women's Commission. To register contact Sue Sloop at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Date: January 28, March 10, April 14
Location: Russel H. Kirkhof Center 2242
A Dads Group is a great place for finding resources. We each have our own set of issues, stressors, and problems to survive daily. Sometimes it can all be overwhelming, to say the least. But when you attend a dads support group, one thing does become incredibly clear... You are not alone, all of us have similar issues to deal with. Join other GVSU dads or grandfathers for interesting, lively, and humorous discussions on being a father!
Lunch provided. Check the Events Calendar for updated dates. Registration can be found on Seminar.
Facilitated by: Sharalle Arnold, GVSU Childrens Enrichment Center & Sue Sloop, GVSU Work Life Connections Program
