Vacation


Clerical, Office, Technical and Department of Public Safety staff accrue .058 hours of vacation time for each regular hour worked for the first four years of employment for up to a total of 15 vacation days annually.  At the beginning of the staff members fifth year of services, as determined by his or her anniversary dated, the staff member will accrue .077 hours of vacation time for each hour for up to a total of 20 vacation days annually. 

No more than one hundred sixty (160) hours (eighty (80) hours for part-time staff) of earned vacation may be carried from one calendar year to the next calendar year.
