Q: Is there a driving force behind your healthy lifestyle? What makes you a healthy individual?
A: My family is the driving force behind my healthy lifestyle. I want to set a good example for my young children and I want to be around as long as possible to enjoy life to the fullest. My amazing husband is my encourager and main support for my wellness journey. It's not about being skinny, it's about being healthy- in mind, body and spirit. I eat healthy food, exercise, and try to find the positive in everything in order to be completely happy.
Q: What activities do you engage in to reduce stress?
A: Spinning, running, yoga, tea parties, and dance parties with my kids!
Q: How would you encourage another person to pursue a healthy lifestyle?
A: Feeling great overall is the key to enjoying every aspect of life! You need to start by making small changes- eat more veggies and less processed foods, take the stairs, park further out. Get a good night's sleep! Don't sweat the small stuff... sweat to burn calories! If you need motivation, take an exercise class... your friendly coworkers will hold you accountable!
