Staff members from African American sororities are pictured as they prepare to deliver the blankets they collected to the Guiding Light Rescue Mission for the Homeless in Grand Rapids on November 23.

The Collective Covering Blanket Drive was sponsored by "Sisters United," Grand Valley students and staff members from Sigma Gamma Rho, Zeta Phi Beta, Delta Sigma Theta and Alpha Kappa Alpha.

More than 50 blankets were collected.
